Job Description

The role of a Graphic Designer is to create visual concepts that communicate ideas, inspire and inform the target audience.

Here are some of the key roles and responsibilities of a Graphic Designer:

Conceptualise Design Ideas: Graphic designers are responsible for brainstorming and creating innovative and visually appealing design concepts for various projects, including but not limited to advertisements, websites, logos, brochures, and packaging.

Develop Design Solutions: Graphic designers create designs that effectively communicate messages and brand identities through visual elements, such as colour, typography, and layout.

Collaborate with Clients or Team Members: Graphic Designers work with clients or other team members to determine project goals and requirements and incorporate feedback into their designs.

Create and Deliver Designs: Graphic Designers create and deliver final design files for print, digital, or other mediums, ensuring the final product meets quality standards and specifications.

Keep Up with Industry Trends: Graphic Designers should stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software advancements, continually improving their skills and staying competitive in the marketplace.

Manage Project Timelines and Budgets: Graphic Designers manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Prepare and Present Design Proposals: Graphic designers must prepare and present design proposals to clients or stakeholders, showcasing their design concepts and explaining how their solutions meet project goals.

Overall, a Graphic Designer is responsible for creating innovative design solutions that effectively communicate messages and brand identities. They collaborate with clients and team members, deliver high-quality designs, stay up-to-date with industry trends and manage project timelines and budgets.

Requirements

- Proven Graphic Designing experience.
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics.
- Familiarity with design software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- A degree in Design, Fine Arts or a related field is a bonus.
