What you'll Build At SAP Ariba Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world's leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. Role To strengthen our team further, we are looking for a motivated and skilled ABAP Developer to join our S/4 Procurement Bangalore Team. In this role, you'll: - Work as an ABAP developer for development of software applications in SAP S/4HANA public cloud environment. - Collaborate with functional product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Work closely with development managers, architects, senior developers and other stakeholders to implement high-quality scalable features. - Embrace a test- driven and quality first mindset for end-to-end ownership of the deliverable. - Apply clean code principles through effective modularization, unit testing, refactoring, and participation in code reviews. - Support the creation and execution of automation tests that strengthen product quality and regression coverage. - Develop technical documentation, design specifications, and reusable development patterns. What you bring - 3-5 years of experience in software development & strong educational qualifications (Bachelor's degree in Engineering or MCA) - Strong programming fundamentals with a solid understanding of core ABAP concepts such as modularization, debugging, ABAP Dictionary, and technical exposure in ABAP/ABAP OO, CDS modelling, OData services, and HANA. - Knowledge of UI5, Fiori, and RAP is a plus. - Good to have understanding of automation test frameworks like vyper/OPA5/Qunits - Understanding of agile development processes; functional knowledge of Procurement/MM is an advantage. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced cloud environment.
