Senior ABAP Developer

About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in SAP BTP and Ariba CIG Integration. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in ABAP development, exposure to cloud-based extensibility on SAP BTP, and practical experience integrating SAP Ariba with SAP S/4HANA or ECC using CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway). Key Responsibilities ABAP Development - Design, develop, and enhance custom objects using ABAP, OO ABAP, CDS Views, AMDPs, and BOPF. - Work on enhancements, user exits, BADIs, BAPIs, workflows, and performance tuning. - Support S/4HANA-specific developments and modern ABAP practices. SAP BTP - Build and deploy applications using SAP BTP services (Cloud Foundry, CAPM, RAP, UI5, BAS). - Develop extensions for S/4HANA using BTP Extension Suite. - Integrate SAP systems with BTP services using APIs and OData. Ariba CIG Integration - Configure and support Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG) for upstream and downstream modules. - Map, transform, and validate documents between S/4HANA/ECC and Ariba. - Troubleshoot CIG transaction failures and coordinate with Ariba support teams. - Implement integration scenarios such as PO, PR, Invoices, ASN, and Supplier Lifecycle processes. Required Skills - Strong experience in ABAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData, and integration frameworks. - Hands-on experience with SAP BTP development (CAPM/RAP/UI5 preferred). - Proven experience working on Ariba CIG implementation or support projects. - Good understanding of Ariba procurement processes (nice to have). - Strong debugging, problem solving, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Skills - SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) experience. - Exposure to S/4HANA implementation or conversion projects. - Knowledge of Clean Core extensibility.
