Job Description

The Cyber Defense Analyst - II position is responsible for building efficiencies by designing

content and developing automations to enhance the capabilities of the Cyber Defense Team..

Principal Accountabilities

- Produce well commented code and clearly articulated documentation
- Build, automate, and operate security applications
- Develop and modify intercommunications between applications, systems, and data to add value

to the CDT

- Identify, propose and initiate improvements to the organization&aposs security posture
- Contribute towards the continual-improvement of our Security, Orchestration, Automation, and

Response processes and documentation

- Recommend, help implement, and test improved threat response capabilities

Skills And Software Requirements

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot new problems as they arise
- High level critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple goals
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- 1 to 2 years of automation/scripting experience using Python (Intermediate Level)
- 1-3 Years of experience in a L1/Related Cyber Security Experience.
- Experience with GIT or a related version control system or workflow
- Playbook development experience is a plus
- HTML and JavaScript experience is a plus
