Are you looking for a challenging role in cybersecurity? We are seeking an experienced Cyber Defense Analyst - II to join our team.


This position is responsible for enhancing the capabilities of the Cyber Defense Team by designing content and developing automations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as high-level critical thinking skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop security applications to strengthen the Cyber Defense Team's capabilities.
  • Develop and modify intercommunications between applications, systems, and data to add value to the CDT.
  • Identify and propose improvements to the organization's security posture, ensuring a robust defense against cyber threats.
  • Contribute to process improvement, including Security, Orchestration, Automation, and Response processes and documentation.
  • Recommend and implement enhanced threat response capabilities, enhancing the team's overall performance.

Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot new problems as they arise.
  • High-level critical thinking skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex situations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing seamless interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language, catering to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with multiple goals, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in work.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment, fostering effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Intermediate-level Python experience, with 1-2 years of automation/scripting experience.
  • 1-3 years of L1/related Cyber Security experience, providing a solid foundation in cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with GIT or a related version control system or workflow, facilitating efficient code management.
  • Playbook development experience is a plus, offering advanced skills in automated workflows.
  • HTML and JavaScript experience is a plus, enhancing the candidate's web development capabilities.
