Position - 02 - Store Manager and Store Executive A Store Manager in the cement industry oversees all aspects of store operations including inventory management material handling and team supervision ensuring efficient and compliant operations This role requires strong leadership organizational and communication skills as well as a solid understanding of safety and industry regulations Here s a more detailed breakdown of the responsibilities and requirements Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Monitor and control inventory levels ensuring optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking Material Handling Supervise the receipt storage and issuance of materials ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies Team Supervision Lead and motivate store staff providing guidance and support in daily operations stock verification and housekeeping Compliance and Safety Enforce safety protocols and industry regulations related to material storage and handling Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate records of store transactions including inventory levels receipts and dispatches using ERP systems if applicable Customer Service Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to materials or store operations providing excellent service and support Vendor Coordination Liaise with procurement vendors and transporters regarding material deliveries and discrepancies Cycle Counts and Physical Verification Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records Store Operations Oversee the day-to-day running of the store ensuring materials are readily available and meet quality standards Required Skills and Qualifications Strong Leadership and Management Skills Ability to motivate guide and supervise a team effectively Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills Ability to communicate effectively with staff vendors and customers Organizational and Time Management Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet deadlines Inventory Management Expertise Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices Knowledge of Safety and Industry Regulations Awareness of safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to material storage and handling Proficiency in ERP Systems Experience with ERP systems e g SAP Oracle for record-keeping and reporting Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Ability to analyze data identify issues and implement solutions Physical Fitness Ability to perform tasks that may require lifting carrying and other physical activities In the context of a cement industry the Store Manager may also be expected to Understand Cement Manufacturing Processes Have a basic understanding of cement manufacturing processes material properties and quality standards Liaise with Production and Maintenance Departments Coordinate with other departments within the cement plant to ensure smooth operations Manage Specialized Cement Materials Understand the storage and handling requirements for various types of cement and related materials Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 450 000 00 - 850 000 00 per year Benefits Food provided Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person
