JOB OVERVIEW Function Overview The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. The Finance function operates as a global team through the partnership of a series of enterprise-focused and business-embedded groups. Purpose of the role As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Capabilities Finance team, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your expertise in process optimization, adaptability, strategic partnership, and system design. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the GMI Finance Team through monthly and annual planning processes by owning and leading the performance of our financial planning tools. Come join the Finance team for this unique opportunity to be a part of a team that will drive impactful change and value to the business KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Own and govern key plan and forecasting applications, such as SAP SAC (Analytics Cloud) - Project lead for capability enhancements, leading through the agile framework and ways of working - Design, deploy, sustain, and mature global Planning solutions and standards consistent with the strategic vision and maturity roadmap - Partner with Global Segment Leads to identify business requirements and coordinate interdependencies for process, data, and technology design across the FP&A capability team - Partner with finance users to determine business requirements, communicate and collaborate with Data & Technology Developers on a solution, develop launch plan, implement change management, and support user adoption of tool enhancements - Innovate, execute, and sustain global process design changes - Operate the day to day process management and issue resolution - Serve as a key liaison between finance and the GIC, driving effective and timely communication with both D&T and critical Commercial and Functional partners - Drive efficiencies in annual and monthly planning & reporting processes - Exhibit strong communication and relationship-building skills to influence and align with stakeholders across functions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory) - Professional Certification: B. Com - 7+ years of related experience Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills Process Excellence, able to make process improvements, and effectively organize work Situational agility, comfort navigating ambiguity Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability Solid understanding of P&L planning and business process Global and/or cross-functional team partnership Expertise in SAP SAC system module (ability to get up to speed quickly) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Master's degree - 7 to 9 years of related experience - Major Area of Study: Finance, Analytics, Accountancy, Costing - Professional Certifications: CA, MBA, PGDBA, MMS - Previous Commercial Finance or FP&A experience - Experience with reporting & visualization tools such as Tableau & Google Looker
