JOB OVERVIEW The Financial Systems Integration (FSI) team oversees our core financial systems (SAP, BW, OneStream), providing leadership on our month-end close and consolidation process and guiding the business and other key stakeholders on our financial systems, data and processes. As a SAP Finance & Close Process Lead, you will own the governance of our financial accounting processes within our SAP Finance system. The role will partner with global process owners, key finance stakeholders and cross functional partners to drive forward standardization efforts and ensure the financial accounting process is well-governed and operates efficiently and effectively, providing end-user support as needed. You will also be accountable to drive forward initiatives owned by the FSI team in support of Finance and IT roadmaps, as well as commercial initiatives aimed to advance our Accelerate Strategy - such upgrading to SAP's S/4 Hana. Critical success factors include the ability to assist in design of system architecture and processes, effectively testing designs, objectively governing those processes against policies, communicating with and educating users and strong overall customer service orientation. In this role, you will partner with the Global Accounting Organization, Audit and Internal Controls, Digital and Technology, and Finance Learning & Development (L&D). In this role, you will get exposure to the following experiences: own a significant functional process, govern and execute control activities, and provide leadership to global and cross-functional stakeholders. It will also allow you to develop & apply numerous capabilities including financial acumen, situational agility, process excellence and governance expertise. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Responsible for delivery of overall integrity of financial accounting process executed within SAP Finance - accuracy, timeliness, controls - Lead local stewards in identifying maturity needs, implementing change, and ensuring consistency - Establish, guide, or execute operating procedures and controls to ensure GMI's processes are well-controlled and governed - Provide outstanding global end user support resolution, including close execution issues - Provide thought leadership & lead system execution for both business continuity (M&A activity, reorganizations, accounting policy changes) and ongoing enhancement of functionality & design - Drive forward initiatives in support of Finance and IT roadmaps and commercial initiatives - Partner with D&T to maximize technology capabilities for automation & streamlining processes - Organize & develop training materials to educate on our financial systems and processes MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science or related field - 3-5 years of previous applicable experience - Deep expertise of GMI financial systems, transactional processes, and data structures - Technical aptitude for process, data, systems - Strong leadership & communication skills - Process oriented with focus on consistency and integrity PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with continuous improvement approaches - Global and cross-functional team leadership - Experience with SAP Finance FI (Financial Accounting - General Ledger, etc.) and COPA (Profitability Analysis).
