About the Role

We’re expanding our global engineering team and seeking an experienced PHP Developer in India to help us develop robust back-end systems and web applications for our portfolio companies.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using PHP
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with external services
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers
- Optimize database queries and application performance
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and technical planning

Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional PHP development experience
- Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter preferred)
- Experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases and query optimization
- Familiarity with REST APIs, OAuth, and third-party integrations
- Proficiency with Git/version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Required Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
- Familiarity with Docker or containerization
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular)
- Agile/Scrum experience

Pay range and compensation package

U.S.-competitive salary: $70,000 – $100,000 USD per year (based on experience)

Fully remote role from India
