About the Role We are hiring a PHP Laravel Full-Stack Developer (Contract/remote) to enhance and scale our job portal. The role includes improving all modules, building monetization features, strengthening email workflows, and ensuring system stability. Required Skills - 4+ years in PHP Laravel - Strong MySQL + Blade + HTML/CSS (Bootstrap/Tailwind) - Strong experience with Laravel - API integration experience (SMTP, Stripe, SMS) - Strong debugging + independent problem-solving - Basic Linux/SSH/cPanel experience - Git/GitHub proficiency Key Responsibilities 1. Enhance and maintain all modules of the job portal — Homepage, Sign-In/Sign-Up, Employer Dashboard, Candidate Dashboard, and Admin Panel. 2. Build and manage email templates + automated workflows (applications, job views, shortlists, interviews, job expiry, profile reminders, payments). 3. Implement and optimise monetisation features: - Paid job postings - Featured job listings - Employer subscription/credit plans 1. Improve job posting workflows — drafts, publishing, renewals, expiry automation. 2. Enhance candidate profile module — resume upload, skills, availability, visibility, and recommendations. 3. Integrate and manage payment module. 4. Create and refine admin reports — jobs, candidates, employers, payments, email logs, usage analytics. 5. Improve employer tools — candidate filters, shortlisting, application tracking, communication triggers. 6. Improve candidate tools — job alerts, application tracking, recommendations, notifications. 7. Manage backend tasks — jobs, queues, job expiry, reminders, data cleanup. 8. Implement and maintain API integrations (SMTP, SMS, Stripe, analytics). 9. Troubleshoot production issues and optimise performance. Good to Have - Experience with job portals or marketplace workflows - Knowledge of subscription models and credit-based systems - Startup or small-team experience
