Company Description At Konecranes we believe that great customer experience is built on the people behind the Konecranes name Everything we do we do with passion and drive We believe diversity drives business success and is the foundation for our growth We welcome different backgrounds and skills that enrich our community and we promote a place where we can ALL be ourselves This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work Position description We are looking for Engineer QA to join our Quality team specialized in manufacturing and service industry In this role you will be responsible for Inbound Supplier quality along with NC management Your key responsibilities Inspection of incoming components and inspections at vendor end Verification of vendor inspection documents certificates Witnessing NDT tests at vendor end Verification of test certificates Preparation of QAP Rejection analysis vendor rating vendor communications Quality MIS Material inward and transfer in SAP along with goods receipt NC Handling Addressing customer warranty Qualifications What should you bring We expect the candidate to have a degree diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent It is also expected to have at least 2-4 years of experience in QA QC SQA Following skills competencies are required in the position- Knowledge of forged machined Casted and fabricated parts along with inspection methodologies Knowledge of Heat Treatment processes and Metallurgical properties of steel Understanding of manufacturing processes and identification of failure modes Ability to read and interpret Mechanical drawings and Electric circuit diagrams Hand on experience in preparation of QAP CP Well versed in root cause analysis Ability to monitor NDT techniques like UT LPT RT interpretation and to verify Test certificates Well versed with electrical components System SAP knowledge Ability to handle small team Experience in crane industry would be preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of ISO 9001 2015 ISO 14001 2015 and ISO 45001 2018 Additional Information Why join us The desired position is declared with the Parts Distribution Centre of Konecranes and Demag Pvt Ltd which is exclusive business unit to cater requirement of after sales service support It includes the support to modernization business unit as well There are multiple commodities of products to work with and most advanced technology in material movement safety There are ample opportunities inside the organization for the candidates to upscale their competency with respect to subsequent job domain Konecranes moves what matters We are a global leader in material handling solutions serving a broad range of customers across multiple industries We consistently set the industry benchmark from everyday improvements to the breakthroughs at moments that matter most because we know we can always find a safer more productive and sustainable way That s why with 16 000 professionals in over 50 countries we are trusted every day to lift handle and move what the world needs Konecranes is committed to ensuring that all employees and job applicants are treated fairly in an environment which is free from any form of discrimination
