Senior Associate – US Finance Location: Chennai Experience: 4–5 years We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Associate – US Finance to support and manage our finance operations for the US entity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in US bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial reporting, along with the ability to lead month-end and year-end closing activities with precision. Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance in accordance with US GAAP. - Drive month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals. - Handle US tax compliance (federal, state, and local) in coordination with external tax advisors. - Ensure full compliance with US accounting standards and IRS requirements. - Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules. - Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal teams to support audits and financial reviews. - Strengthen internal controls and continuously improve financial processes. - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive informed decision-making. Key Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 4–5 years of experience in US finance operations, bookkeeping, and tax compliance. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP, US tax filing, and compliance frameworks. - Proficiency with QuickBooks and other US accounting software. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in working with cross-border teams.
