Benefits Accommodation will be provided by the company for outside candidates A Cinema or Theatre Attendant s job description also known as a theatre usher or usher involves ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for patrons They assist with ticket verification guiding patrons to their seats and maintaining the cleanliness of the venue Additional duties may include selling programs refreshments and merchandise as well as handling customer queries and resolving issues Key Responsibilities Ticket Management Verifying and collecting tickets ensuring proper entry into the auditorium Seating Guidance Assisting patrons in finding their designated seats and resolving any seating-related problems Customer Service Addressing patron queries handling complaints and providing assistance Sales Selling programs refreshments and merchandise to patrons during shows and intervals Venue Maintenance Maintaining the cleanliness of the auditorium collecting litter and ensuring a safe environment for patrons Emergency Procedures Supervising the evacuation of the premises in case of an emergency Front of House Operations May assist with box office duties including ticket sales and reservations Event Support Providing assistance during rehearsals performances meetings and other events Additional Skills and Qualities Strong communication skills Being able to clearly and effectively communicate with patrons Customer service skills Being friendly helpful and able to resolve issues professionally Organizational skills Managing tasks and maintaining order within the venue Physical stamina Being able to stand and move around for extended periods of time Ability to work under pressure Handling a busy environment and dealing with potential issues during events Job Type Full-time Pay 8 086 00 - 15 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Evening shift Night shift Rotational shift Weekend availability Work Location In person Expected Start Date 26 05 2025
