Let’s make your career great Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead our AWS infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives. This role requires a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure setup, management, and optimization on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-year, multi-million dollar migration and infrastructure projects, demonstrating both technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities. Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure. - Drive multi-year migration initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. - Develop and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, SRE processes, automation, and operational excellence. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, and Security teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with business needs. - Serve as a hands-on manager, actively contributing to platform architecture, automation, and deployment processes. - Mentor and grow engineering teams, fostering a culture of reliability, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response procedures to ensure high availability and system resilience. Must Have Skills: - Extensive experience in setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS. - Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices. - Proven success in delivering large-scale, multi-year migration or cloud transformation projects involving multi-million dollar budgets. - Tenured engineering management experience, with a track record of leading high-performing, cross-functional teams. - Hands-on coding and automation skills, with experience in deployments, scripting, and cloud-native development. - Full stack development background is advantageous, especially if combined with practical deployment and automation experience. - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have: - Robust, scalable AWS infrastructure that supports business growth and innovation. - Successful completion of complex migration projects on time and within budget. - A high-performing, motivated engineering team that adheres to best practices for reliability and operational excellence. - Continuous improvements in automation, monitoring, and incident response capabilities. Qualification: - BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
