Job Description About the Role: 10 The Team: The EDO (Enterprise DataOrganisation) Data and Distribution Platforms division is dedicated to developing platforms thatfacilitatedata acquisition and onboarding while supporting cross-divisional product creation. They provide a variety of distribution channels, including warehouse-based solutions, files, and APIs tailored to different customer use cases. Furthermore, these platforms are designed to enable AI-driven distribution. As a Product Owner / Manager for S&PGlobal'sDistribution and DataPlatformsyou play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative data and distribution solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. This positionis responsible fordefiningthe productvision, strategy,timelyexecutionand roadmap for our products, ensuring that our offeringsremaincompetitive and aligned with market demands. The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of user needs and businessobjectives. As a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, the Product Owner will prioritize features, manage the product backlog, and drive the agile development process to deliver the results on time. Key responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating those into actionable user stories, and ensuring thatthe productdevelopment aligns with the overall strategic goals of S&PGlobal'sEDO organization. Join us to drive the success of S&PGlobal'sEnterprise Data Organization Key Responsibilities: - Product Requirements and roadmap - Understand, Analyze, Document and Sign-off Business, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements - Communicatea clear product strategy, roadmap and set of features that convey the product vision. - Participate / lead in project sizing,planningand trackingactivities - Contribute and articulate the vision and strategy to obtain approval from keystake holdersincluding senior management, product management development, and operations. - Business and Tech Liaison - Understand business problem / need and communicate to Technology Understand technology solution against business need and present back to Business - Produce detailed business and functional feature definitions from existing systems,previousdrafts, and SME interviews - Partner with stakeholders, understanding their businessobjectivesand priorityrequirementsfacilitatesign-off across stakeholder groups. - Demonstrate the ability to use a broad range of business analysis skills, methodologies and techniques including Gap Analysis, Feasibility studies, Use case modelling - Assess the impact ofchangein requirements to the technology systems / infrastructure and ensure changes are documented and communicated in an effective way - Work with Development and Testing teams during testing cycles to ensure implementation meets requirements. - Utilize analytical tools to develop workflows, cross functional and process flow diagrams WhatWe'reLooking For: - Expertisein agile methodologies. - Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a data-centric environment, preferably within financial services or technology sectors. - Proven ability to lead and manage project teams across diverse geographies, juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. - Clear communication and interpersonal skills, witha track recordof influencing cross-functional teams and delivering results without formal authority. - A collaborative mindset, thriving in cross-functional teams that value innovation, productivity, and quality.
