Technical Project Manager – Observability

Job Position: Technical Project Manager – Observability Experience Required: 10+ Years. Location: Hyderabad Technical Skill Requirements: Technical Program Management, Infrastructure, Devops, Observability Role and Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a high-performing team of observability engineers in India, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. - Manage end-to-end delivery of observability platforms, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and business objectives are consistently met. - Define and execute the observability roadmap across APM, infrastructure monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, and synthetic monitoring. - Implement proactive monitoring practices and automation to reduce Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR) and enhance system reliability. - Work closely with DevOps, SRE, application, and infrastructure teams to embed observability into CI/CD pipelines. - Partner with US-based stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and provide regular program updates. - Oversee vendor relationships, licensing, and platform optimization for tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or equivalent. - Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards to measure platform adoption, performance, and business impact. - Promote best practices in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), anomaly detection, and AIOps. Required Skills - Minimum of 10 years in engineering Project management, with a strong focus on observability, infrastructure, or DevOps domains. - Proven experience in project management within observability or infrastructure domains. - Strong understanding of observability tools and practices. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional initiatives. - Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and SRE principles.
