The Nursing Tutor assists in teaching skill demonstration and clinical training of nursing students The role focuses on supporting academic delivery guiding students in laboratory and clinical settings and ensuring competency-based learning per university and council standards 2 Key ResponsibilitiesA Teaching Academic Support Assist faculty in delivering theory and practical sessions Conduct demonstration classes in nursing labs Fundamentals MCH OBG Community Medical-Surgical etc Prepare teaching aids lesson plans and practical manuals Support internal assessments assignments and student evaluations Help organize seminars workshops and academic programs B Clinical Training Responsibilities Supervise students during clinical postings in hospitals and community settings Demonstrate nursing procedures and guide students in skill performance Ensure students follow safety protocols infection control and ethical standards Monitor students clinical performance and maintain evaluation records C Student Mentorship Support Provide academic guidance and encourage skill development Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment Support students in case presentations care plans and clinical assignments D Administrative Responsibilities Maintain skill lab equipment inventories and records Assist in preparing and updating logbooks attendance sheets and competency records Participate in departmental meetings committees and institutional activities Help with documentation for INC State Nursing Council NAAC or internal audits E Professional Development Attend faculty development programs CNEs conferences and workshops Stay updated with current nursing practices and guidelines Participate in community outreach and extension activities as required 3 Qualification Requirements B Sc Nursing Post Basic B Sc Nursing as per INC norms Valid registration with State Nursing Council Strong practical nursing skills and interest in teaching 4 Skills Competencies Good communication and teaching abilities Proficiency in nursing procedures Ability to supervise students effectively Basic computer and ICT teaching skills Teamwork professionalism and student-centered approach 5 Work Environment Skills laboratories Classrooms Hospital and community clinical areas Academic administrative offices Job Type Full-time Work Location In person
