Job Description Job Description Generation of working Piping stress Caesar model and performing stress analysis of the piping. Providing economical and effective piping support, Generate MTO for special pipe support, TBE for spring supports and special pipe supports. Taking care and generation of stress relevant documentation e.g. Critical line list, load data sheet, and MR for special pipe support. Can perform pipe thickness calculation as per latest codes and standards. Continuous providing support in piping engineering activities. Resolve site queries for piping issue. Hot tapping design calculations and its engineering. Calculation and approval of Online sealing clamp drawing. Responsibilities - ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Accountabilities ACTIVITIES QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Piping Design / MOC Management - Generation of Stress analysis model and performing stress analysis. - Provide economical and effective piping supports - Coordination with Material group to provide MTO for special pipe support. - MR Generation for special pipe supports - TBE for special pipe support. System development & Implementation / Leadership Development and Clear Expectations - Improving existing system (Caesar II analysis files) for Refinery as per business demand. - Coordination with civil, mechanical, instrument for smooth implementation of schemes Coordination Internal & External - Technical corresponding with vendors, engineering agencies for special pipe support drawings approvals - Managing the Drawings deliverables - Interacting with SAP / IT departments and obtain solutions for system related issues. ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSystems, Policies & Procedures: To be accountable for implementation and improvement of the EMS systems, procedures & policies in respective functional operations. - To ensure adherence to the all health, safety, and environment systems during all field activities - General awareness on Environment Management in Refinery Operations - Implementation of environment management procedures like Hazardous / Non Hazardous waste management. OHSMS HSEF - Care & Welfare: To achieve any safe and healthy work place. Authority: To stop any unsafe job on observation To address critical safety issue associated while Preparation of drawings / Plant visit. Target Zero accident within the Section. Energy Management Systems 50001:2018 Energy Management systems ISO 50001:2018 Awareness about Energy policy, significant energy uses, Energy objectives and Energy Management System. Monitoring and controlling of EnPIs, variables, baseline, Objective / Targets & Management programmes (Energy action plan) and Energy performance as applicable - KEY CHALLENGES - Knowledge of Pipe stress analysis software like Caesar II, Basics and sound concept of stress / metallurgy / strength of materials and SAP is mandatory. PDS, auto CAD will be added advantage. Must have overall knowledge of project management, must be familiar with pipe thickness calculations as per latest codes and standards. - KEY DECISIONS - Made by Jobholder: - Preparation of working stress analysis model, MTO for special pipe support. - Coordination with Material group to provide MR for Procurement of material - Recommendations to superior: - Stress analysis and support engineering - Site queries - Hot tap engineering - INTERACTIONS - Internal Interactions: - Preparation of working stress analysis model, review of Vendor Drawings for special pipe support and its approval - Interaction with process / Operation / Maintenance / Inspection departments for timely preparation of stress model for process modifications. - Resolve all execution and site queries and provide pipe support solution in time to avoid delay in execution. - Coordination with Material group to resolve any query related to materials. - External Interactions: - Interacting with SAP / IT departments and obtain solutions for system related issues. - Interact with Project / Execution group and resolve Engineering drawings and material related issues. - Follow-up with Vendors for expediting Drawings and its MTO. Qualifications Graduate Engineer (Mechanical) Knowledge in Piping Design Engineering
