The candidate must have completed civil engineering diploma or graduate, The candidate must have residence in Madurai City.Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Civil Site Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day civil work execution on-site, coordinate with labor and subcontractors, monitor construction quality, and ensure timely project delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in supervising building construction activities (residential, commercial, or industrial), reading civil drawings, and handling on-site workforce efficiently. This is a field-based role requiring attention to detail, strong leadership at site level, and practical knowledge of construction procedures, tools, and materials.Key Responsibilities:1. Site Execution & Monitoring: Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities on-site including RCC, brickwork, plastering, concreting, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing work. Ensure that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow. 2. Labor & Resource Management: Monitor and manage labor attendance, productivity, and safety. Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors as per work schedule. Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools, and equipment on site. Maintain discipline and resolve minor on-site issues promptly. 3. Quality & Safety Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality, levels, alignment, and finish are as per project requirements. Ensure that safety protocols (PPE usage, scaffolding standards, etc.) are followed by all workers. Report non-compliance or unsafe practices to the site engineer or project manager. 4. Planning & Reporting: Maintain daily site work reports, labor deployment, and material consumption logs. Report progress, issues, and delays to the site engineer or construction manager. Assist in preparing weekly and monthly work progress reports. 5. Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with material suppliers, equipment vendors, and site vendors for timely delivery and services. Communicate effectively with senior engineers, architects, and clients during site visits. Assist in resolving technical or execution-related challenges during work.
