Associate Director

Job Description Role: Associate Director - Digital Solutions, Private Asset Products Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Hybrid Travel:- 20-25% (International & Domestic) About the Role: This role serves as a senior digital product leader within the Private Asset Management business, with deep involvement in Private Equity and Fund Lifecycle operations. The incumbent will define, evolve, and scale digital solutions that power deal evaluation, fund setup, portfolio monitoring, and exit workflows. The role requires hands-on leadership, global stakeholder influence, and the ability to drive transformation across complex cross-functional groups. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the digital strategy and product roadmap for Private Markets, especially across private equity workflows, fund lifecycle, and investor solutions. - Build and scale data-driven digital products supporting deal origination, diligence, fund launches, performance analytics, and wind-down processes. - Partner with global teams including Investments, Risk, Operations, Technology, and senior leadership to deliver enterprise-level digital capabilities. - Integrate AI/ML-led models for predictive analytics, decision support, and operational efficiency. - Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle management using Agile methodologiesvisioning, design, delivery, adoption, and enhancement. - Evaluate and implement private markets platforms (e.g., iLevel, eFront, Investran) and enable seamless data integrations via APIs and cloud-native architecture. - Drive complex change, ensuring global alignment across investor teams, portfolio managers, and enterprise operations. - Lead and mentor teams in India, ensuring delivery excellence, strategic alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction. - Ensure compliance with global standards across product governance, data frameworks, security, and operational rigor. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline. - 15+ years of product management / technology leadership experience; at least 8 years in Private Markets, Investment Management, or Financial Services. - Proven experience scaling digital product portfolios for data-heavy global enterprises. - Strong understanding of private equity processes - deal sourcing, diligence, portfolio management, fund administration, and exit strategies. - Demonstrated success delivering digital transformation across large, matrixed, global organisations. - Hands-on experience with AI/ML in financial modelling or predictive analytics. - Knowledge of private markets platforms (iLevel/eFront/Investran), CRM tools, cloud platforms, APIs, and integration patterns. - Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and communicate complex solutions with clarity. - Flexibility to work in global time zones (primarily US overlap). - Experience in fund setup, fund listing, and lifecycle processes is strongly preferred. Note:- Candidates from purely technical file-handling backgrounds (e.g., technical product roles) would not fly on the role This role is not a standard product manager positionit requires someone who deeply understands Private Markets and the full fund lifecycle, from fund formation and capital raising to portfolio monitoring, listing/IPO readiness, and eventual ramp-down. The ideal leader must connect business strategy with digital transformation and bring credibility with global stakeholders, including GPs, investment teams, fund administration, risk, and operations. We need someone who has lived the complexities of Private Equity/Alternatives and has driven change across large asset managers or global banks. This means working with platforms like iLevel, eFront, Investran, overseeing data/analytics strategy, managing multi-region stakeholder expectations, and being comfortable traveling across the US, UK, Australia, and Hong Kong.
