Job Description Group Company ACG PAM Shirwal Primary Responsibilities Assembly & Prototyping: - Execute and supervise the assembly of new machines and modules as per specifications. - Provide assembly-related feedback to design teams for manufacturability and serviceability. Trials & Testing - Plan and conduct machine trials, performance testing, FAT and SAT. - Document results, analyse deviations, troubleshoot issues, and recommend actions. - Validate assemblies for functionality, performance, and reliability. Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with design, procurement, quality, and PPC to align with project milestones. - Serve as the technical point of contact for assembly and trial-related activities within NPD. Process & Quality Assurance - Follow SOPs and quality standards for assembly, testing, and validation. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize assembly and testing cycles. Project Support - Assist the Project Manager in achieving NPD project deliverables by ensuring material readiness, timely assembly, and successful trials. - Provide technical support during customer visits, demonstrations, and reviews. Key Result Areas - On-time assembly & trials for prototype, beta, and FAT/SAT builds - Resource planning of manpower, tools, fixtures & consumables for smooth execution - Accurate documentation & digitalisation through Teamcenter/SAP - Cross-functional collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Testing & Application teams - Apply Lean practices 6S, Gemba, Shopfloor management, Kaizen for efficiency & quality - Mentor and motivate team members; promote safety and a collaborative culture Key Interfaces Internal Interfaces - PPC (Project Planning & Control) Team - Design Team (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls) - Automation & Control Team External Interfaces - SCM (Supply Chain Management) Team - Aftermarkets Team - Quality & Compliance Team - CI (Continuous Improvement) Team - Customers Competencies Knowledge of new Assembly Tools & Technics Knowledge of Pharma packaging machines Persona-Builder Persona-Integrator Persona-Innovator Persona-Partner Persona-Nurturer Persona-Entrepreneur
