We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Engineer to join our cutting-edge product development team. Job Description About the Role: - Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java and python code for the Analysis Engine (malware detection) platform of Trellix. - Ownership of significant areas of the code for both new feature/functionality development as well as maintenance/redesign of the existing areas of the product. - Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product. - Active participation in our ongoing process enhancements and software development practices Required Skills: - 4 to 7 years of relevant software development experience. - Strong programming skills in JAVA; familiarity with Python is a plus. - Solid understanding of operating system concepts and Linux environments. - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases is desirable. - Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and best practice implementation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
