SourcingThis is a strategic role within the Procurement Function reporting into the global Category Management Lead with overall accountability in the following areas Bring in the required expertise across Infrastructure Logistics I L categories such as Leases Infrastructure Services Facility Management Engineering Site Setup Transport etc To deliver significant Value to Genpact through the strategic sourcing engagements and supplier management activities within the I L Category Annual spend value above 100MThis is a global role hence the incumbent would need to understand global strategic sourcing and should be able to establish vendor connections across regions Global coordination and collaboration with the other Procurement teams is key Take the Lead and contribute to the Procurement Organization to deliver the results defined by the procurement plan in support of the broader business requirements Lead a high-performance team and ensure proper implementation of leading-edge procurement capabilities to become a world class procurement OrganisationResponsibilityCreate requests for proposals RFP and reviews bids Analyze the cost between vendors to make the best sourced product for the organization Create contract terms condition negotiate terms and implements services Responsible for driving supplier performance demand management savings and increasing category compliance Contribute and drive for overall priorities according to the defined yearly objectives Estimate and propose initiatives to deliver savings within his area of responsability and identify additional opportunities Responsible to understand and achieve sourcing category deliverables savings commitments milestones and obligations and establish a project plan to meet eachLiaison with Coordinators within team to resolve vendor disputes at times Prepare MIS for available data on regular basis Follow the Purchase to pay P2P process This includes the PR PO process Managing the Budget vs Actual spend with Finance teamSearch Identity Evaluate vendors assess their capability as per Organization norms Development of new vendors Managing timely clearance of payments handling vendor inquiries Vendor database management Evaluating Auditing various vendors from time to time for fresh addition continuity termination Ensuring and driving compliance with all relevant internal and external requirements relating to procurement processes and internal controlsEnsure proper execution and signing of contracts including NDA BGC before any confidential information is shared for discussions negotiationsResponsible for Vendor Database internal external AuditQualifications we seek in you Minimum qualificationsGraduation degree in Science Commerce Business Relevant years experience in Sourcing Category Management in Manufacturing BPO industries Good Verbal and Written Communication SkillsKnowledge of MS Office Applications like Excel Word PowerPointProficient Understanding of Indirect Spend Categories like MRO Facilities Purchased Services their Buying PatternsStrong Customer Centric focus with xe2x80x98CAN-DO attitudeProficiency in Analytical Presentation SkillsProficiency in Negotiation SkillsProactive Persuasive Relationship with Client StakeholdersGood Exposure to Global Suppliers by Indirect Spend CategoriesProficiency in creation and management of RFI RFP RFQsModerate understanding of Spend Analysis Contracts DraftingBasic Knowledge of SAP Oracle Other Legacy ERP ApplicationsBasic Exposure to E-Sourcing ApplicationsPreferred SkillsBasic Knowledge of SAP Oracle Other Legacy ERP ApplicationsBasic Exposure to E-Sourcing ApplicationsGenpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race color religion or belief sex age national origin citizenship status marital status military veteran status genetic information sexual orientation gender identity physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws Genpact is committed to creating a dynamic work environment that values diversity and inclusion respect and integrity customer focus and innovation Get to know us at and on and Furthermore please do note that Genpact does not charge fees to process job applications and applicants are not required to pay to participate in our hiring process in any other way Examples of such scams include purchasing a starter kit paying to apply or purchasing equipment or training Genpact
