Job ID 29531 Location Gandhinagar IN Area of interest Governance Risk Management Compliance Job type Regular Employee Work style Office Working Opening date 26 Jun 2025 Key Responsibilities Strategy Ensure that there is adequate support people processes tools frameworks systems in the respective team for necessary FCC controls Business Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics including regulatory and business conduct across Standard Chartered Bank This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with in letter and spirit all applicable laws regulations guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct Lead the Surveillance Excellence to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles Fair Outcomes for Clients Effective Operation of Financial Markets Financial Crime Prevention The Right Environment Processes Apply Group and FCC policies and processes AML surveillance client screening risk assessment to manage risks an while assessing the AML alerts Make recommendations and or implement to relevant stakeholders on possible risk management responses to identified risks and or findings of concerns from investigations Ensure timely review of the AML cases assigned and recommendation to Team Leader Principal Officer on observation of any suspicious activity for STR reporting Ensure to prepare STR with compete and accurate information clearly mentioning the Ground of Suspicion and other STR report section as per the format prescribed by FIU-India Assess risks arising from products segments geographies customers transactions during the AML case investigation or otherwise Conduct a root cause analysis on the control other failures to ensure lessons are learned across the bank Ensure the suitability and quality of case investigation data maintained on enterprise case management systems Understand technical aspects of systems relevant to CDD Name and Transaction Screening AML Monitoring and Case Management People Talent Promote and embed a culture of openness trust and risk awareness where ethical legal regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm Stimulate an environment where forward planning prioritisation deadline management and streamlined workflows and collaborative inclusive yet effective and efficient work practices are the norm Risk Management Inform senior management of serious regulatory breaches or where risk tolerances have been breached and ensure that actions are taken quickly to remediate and or activities are ceased Governance Propose control improvements enhancements and simplifications where appropriate Support all control checks undertaken by FCC under the Operational Risk Framework ORF Prepare and cascade lessons learned from audit findings FCC assurance activities and specific investigations Collate analyse and interpret data in reports to senior management and relevant governance risk committees Analyse and interpret data to produce reports that help the bank identify and manage emerging areas of risk vulnerability and thus drive remediation action within the FCC function Key stakeholders FCC teams -
