Location BangaloreAbout Sapiens Sapiens International Corporation NASDAQ and TASE SPNS is a leading global provider of software solutions for the insurance industry with a growing presence in the financial services sector We offer integrated core software solutions and business services and a full digital suite for the property and casualty general insurance life pension and annuities and reinsurance markets Sapiens also services the workers compensation and financial and compliance markets Our portfolio includes policy administration billing and claims underwriting illustration and electronic application reinsurance and decision management software Sapiens digital platform features customer and agent portals and a business intelligence platform With a 40-year track record of delivering to more than 700 organizations Sapiens team of over 5 500 operates through our fully-owned subsidiaries in North America the United Kingdom EMEA and Asia Pacific For more information Technical Team Lead As part of the Sapiens Digital Delivery group you will work in a scrum team you are the technical owner of the portal build for specific customer The developers in the scrum team will report to you Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring that customer implementation projects are delivered in scope on-time in superior quality Utilize Agile project management methodologies and relevant supporting software in the planning scheduling reporting and change management of the projects Manage an agile team developers and testers throughout the project lifecycle - from requirement gathering to a successful go-live Act as the technical lead creating project level architecture and providing technical solutions to custom features Designing and developing new features as well as adjusting and configuring existing features per client needs Assisting in troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production Collaborating with stakeholders Product managers Core engineering teams UX to evaluate trade-offs between design risk and technology Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the project deadlines Responsible for code design quality and implementation per Sapiens standards Governance - provision of customer project statuses project timeline maintenance project plan performance reporting etc Act as the team scrum master ensure that the backlog is well groomed an prioritized Estimate and create project backlog and provide visibility to the project progress Audit implementations to ensure the implementation processes defined internally are followed Manage customer expectations and deliverables including as appropriate client issues management and escalation Requirements Great team player with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology have a strong track record with leading successful B2C implementation projects - mandatory B E B Tech in Computer Science Software Engineering Mathematics or equivalent 8-10 years of experience in leading software projects which contained development and delivery to customers 8-10 years of hands-on experience with software development - mandatory Experience and passion for modern web development technologies methodologies and techniques - React 16 Angular 4 5 6 Node js Automated Unit Testing CSS Modules Styled Components etc - mandatory Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Microservice Architecture Cloud Computing and Containers Kubernetes Docker big advantage Public cloud experience Amazon Azure Google big advantage Previous SW architecture experience - big advantage A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has ability to manage and prioritize concurrent work assignments Experience leading teams providing coaching mentoring and training to customers Strong knowledge understanding and experience working with Agile methodology Strong business orientation experience in direct interaction with customers Strong oral written and presentation communication skills Motivated to succeed with a can-do approach Agile SCRUM Certification is a plus Good written and spoken communication skills Fluent English excellent communication skills Open and willing to travel when needed
