Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned SAP ABAP Technical Team Lead with 6-10 years of experience to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP development, quality checks, and modern SAP technologies including OData, Fiori, CDS Views, AMDP, APIs, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices.
  • Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP solutions including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
  • Conduct thorough ABAP code quality checks and reviews to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and support OData services, Fiori applications, CDS views, and AMDP procedures.
  • Integrate SAP systems with external applications using APIs and other integration technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, etc.).
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, and ensure successful deployment of solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership during SAP upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and promote continuous improvement within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
  • Strong proficiency in classical and object-oriented ABAP, ALV reporting, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancements.
  • Proven experience in OData services, SAP Fiori, CDS views, AMDP, and API-based integrations.
  • Solid understanding of SAP modules like MM, SD, FI and their technical integration points.
  • Experience with ABAP code quality tools and performance optimization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
