Job Title Purchase Head Department Purchase Procurement Location Zeel Head Office Plant Location Reports To Director Managing Director Job Purpose To lead and manage all purchasing and procurement activities for the organization ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials at the best possible cost while maintaining vendor relationships and supporting production efficiency Key Responsibilities 1 Procurement Strategy Planning Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with company goals Forecast material requirements in coordination with production planning and sales teams Identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiation alternate sourcing and bulk procurement 2 Vendor Development Management Identify evaluate and onboard reliable suppliers for fabric trims accessories packaging and raw materials Negotiate price terms and delivery schedules to ensure competitive advantage Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations quality delivery compliance cost 3 Material Management Ensure continuous supply of required materials without delays Oversee inventory control to minimize overstocking or shortages Work closely with warehouse and production teams for accurate stock visibility 4 Cost Budget Control Prepare and manage the annual procurement budget Monitor purchase expenses and ensure adherence to financial targets Implement cost optimization initiatives across categories 5 Compliance Documentation Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and statutory requirements Oversee purchase orders contracts and documentation accuracy Maintain transparent vendor payment and contract records 6 Team Leadership Lead train and motivate the purchase team to achieve targets Ensure cross-functional coordination between purchase production accounts and logistics Key Skills Competencies Strong negotiation and analytical skills Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Understanding of textile garment or PVC raw materials market Vendor management and cost control expertise Proficient in ERP Excel MIS reporting Leadership planning and problem-solving abilities Qualifications Experience Graduate Postgraduate in Supply Chain Textile Management or Business Administration Minimum 10-15 years of experience in purchase procurement preferably in textile fabric or PVC manufacturing industry Proven track record of handling large-scale procurement operations Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 1 200 000 00 - 2 500 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
