Business Finance Controller Enterprise ITPrimary Location Bangalore INOverview The mission of the Business Finance Controller s role is to help the International Ops Region Digital Technology Center DTC HR Employee Experience EE operational IT teams 150M Opex as part of Enterprise IT make the most informed decisions possible for the benefit of Schneider Electric This role aides the business decision making process through a deep understand of the operational drivers affecting performance and providing insightful analysis to drive actions This role is part of a multi-cultural team that offers an enjoyable collaborative and a fun work culture while providing rewarding interesting and engaging deliverables General ResponsibilitiesThe Controller is directly responsible to Operation Leaders on all areas of Enterprise IT finance including but not limited to strong Support Function Cost SFC control managing Balance Sheet integrity and collaborating on forecasting processes Partners with Operation leadership to deliver Region or Domain Budget to Target Anticipates risk and opportunities on the short to medium term and works with business partners to react appropriately with clear action plans Work with Operation leadership to build and refine the strategic plan to ensure efficiency effectiveness and sufficient resource flexibility Oversees the month-end close processes for the scope through connecting with CoCE team including reviewing and ensuring accuracy of the financial statements Review screen and validate Vendor cost short to long term and ensure Contract PO compliance aligned with Group policy Build bottoms up Budget Forecast Processes and Quarterly Business Review QBR working with business partners and other Global Function teams to drive forecast accuracy actions Provide business case support and challenge for Digital investments Total Cash Out follow up on Value Creation and ensure coherence with SE global strategy Develop the skills and competencies of indirect dotted line analysts CoCE Act as Point of Contact for various specialists including Tax Audit AP AR QualificationsQualifications Key Success Factors Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Finance or Accounting -or- MBA CPA 8-10 years related progressive financial experience with preference of Business Partner experience and managerial responsibilities Previous experience navigating budget crisis support and guidance Strong financial analytical skills with proven business acumen to connect financial performance to business strategy Serve as Finance Business partner to Enterprise IT leadership and staff the right candidate will demonstrate strong ability to work with and influence operations team and others not within direct reporting relationship Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams Advanced PC skills emphasis on MS Excel Power Point SAP and Tableau and the ability to adapt to new systems and applications quickly Possess drive and desire to learn on job and participate actively in Finance Transformation General InfoWe know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed we still encourage you to apply for the position if you find it aligned to your career goals Here every employee has the power to take control over his or her career Our comprehensive Total Employee Experience enables employees to manage their professional development and prepare for the next step in their career This offer includes a competitive health and wellness package retirement plans World Employee Share Ownership Plan mentoring internal and international mobility technical functional individual and managerial development and much more At Schneider Electric we re working together to power the future Schedule Full-time Req 00918T
