As a Medical Transcriptionist, youll be an integral part of the healthcare documentation teamensuring precision in clinical records, discharge summaries, case notes, and medico-legal reports. Youll work with a dedicated team of doctors and medical educators in a state-of-the-art teaching hospital. Key Responsibilities: - Transcribe and edit doctor-dictated medical reports, including: - Discharge summaries - Operative notes - Clinical progress notes - Diagnostic imaging reports - Consultation reports - Ensure accuracy, clarity, and completeness in all patient documentation. - Interpret complex medical terminology, abbreviations, and diagnostic procedures. - Maintain confidentiality and data security of patient records. - Proofread and format transcriptions to align with hospital documentation protocols. - Work closely with physicians and nursing staff to resolve inconsistencies or unclear dictations. - Adhere to turnaround times and transcription quality standards.
