Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our B2B growth for AstrologyAPI.com. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive the adoption of our API solutions across industries. You will work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Tech teams to shape the future of astrology-powered products worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify, target, and qualify new B2B opportunities through research, networking, and industry events.
- Client Acquisition: Present and pitch AstrologyAPI.coms solutions to potential partners, clients, and decision-makers.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer success and retention.
- Market Research: Analyze industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to position Vedic Rishi as a market leader.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead qualification to closing, including proposals, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Partnerships & Alliances: Identify and establish strategic alliances with complementary businesses, platforms, or aggregators.
- Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback and collaborate with internal teams to improve API products and services.
- Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets, contributing directly to the companys growth objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in SaaS, APIs, or technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of API-based solutions, SaaS sales cycles, and enterprise/client onboarding processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with CXOs, founders, and technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using CRM tools and reporting.
- Interest in astrology, spirituality, or related fields is a plus.
