Job Title QA Engineer Job Type Full-time Experience Level 1-3 years Reports To Engineering Lead About the Role We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong foundation in both manual and automation testing and proven industry experience The ideal candidate will work closely with the development product and design teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products You will be responsible for both manual testing and the design development and maintenance of automated test scripts You should have a good understanding of QA methodologies and automation frameworks with a willingness to grow into a more senior QA Automation Engineer role over time Key Responsibilities Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts for web mobile or API-based applications Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and define testing strategies Perform functional integration regression and performance testing Analyze test results identify issues and assist in troubleshooting Maintain and enhance the test automation framework Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives regarding quality processes and tools Log detailed reproducible bug reports and verify bug fixes Help improve CI CD pipeline integration with automated tests Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies Required Qualifications 1 years of QA experience including at least 1 year in test automation Strong understanding of QA concepts such as SDLC STLC test case design and defect management Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium Cypress Playwright or equivalent Basic to intermediate programming scripting skills e g JavaScript Python Java or C Experience with version control systems e g Git Familiarity with API testing tools e g Postman RestAssured Good communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with BDD frameworks e g Cucumber SpecFlow Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms e g BrowserStack Sauce Labs Understanding of performance testing using tools like JMeter k6 or similar Exposure to CI CD tools e g Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
