Position Overview As a Senior Training Specialist you will play a crucial role in designing developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance both the technical competencies and soft skills of our employees The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training facilitation content creation and instructional design with a proven ability to effectively engage learners across various levels of expertise Key Responsibilities - Deliver training programs focused on both technical and soft skill development catering to the diverse needs of our workforce - Develop engaging and interactive training materials including presentations e-learning modules videos and other multimedia content - Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials and course content - Facilitate training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods such as classroom instruction virtual sessions workshops and on-the-job training - Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments surveys and feedback mechanisms and make recommendations for continuous improvement - Stay updated on industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in training and development to enhance the quality and relevance of our training initiatives - Mentor and support junior training staff providing guidance and expertise in instructional design facilitation techniques and content development Qualifications - Bachelor s degree in Education Instructional Design Human Resources or a related field Master s degree preferred - Minimum of 6 years of experience in training and development with a focus on both soft skills and technical training - Proven experience in instructional design curriculum development and content creation using various authoring tools and platforms - Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage learners and create a positive and interactive learning environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams and stakeholders - Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines - Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements - Certification in training and development e g CPLP CPTM is a plus
