Job Description

Job Title: Specialist System Engineer Storage

Experience: 5 7 Years

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAN Storage Administration (DELL EMC profiles only).
- Expertise in EMC and Pure Storage SAN infrastructure.
- Proficiency in managing VMAX, PowerStore, Unity, and PowerMax storage arrays.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) setup, testing, and administration.

Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise storage systems (EMC & Pure Storage).
- Monitor storage performance, capacity, and health to ensure optimal operation.
- Manage storage provisioning, zoning, and replication across SAN environments.
- Implement and support disaster recovery and backup solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Work closely with server, virtualization, and backup teams to provide end-to-end support.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance on storage infrastructure.
- Document storage configurations, policies, and operational procedures.

Good to Have

- Exposure to cloud-integrated storage solutions.
- Knowledge of VMware integration with SAN storage.
- Experience with automation/scripting for storage management.
