Job Summary A Resort Storekeeper manages inventory maintains accurate records and ensures efficient storage and delivery of supplies for the resort They are responsible for receiving storing and issuing various goods from food and beverages to cleaning products and equipment and maintaining a clean and organized storehouse Inventory Management Maintain accurate records of inventory levels stock movements and transactions Receiving and Storing Receive and store goods ensuring proper storage conditions and FIFO LIFO principles Issuing Supplies Issue supplies to different resort departments based on requisitions Record Keeping Maintain accurate records of inventory sales and customer transactions Stock Control Conduct regular stock checks identify shortages and initiate purchase requisitions Storehouse Maintenance Keep the storehouse clean tidy and organized Safety and Security Ensure compliance with safety and security standards Collaboration Coordinate with other departments e g chef F B manager for supply needs Communication Communicate with suppliers follow up on orders and address any issues promptly Training May be responsible for training assistant storekeepers Documentation Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of transactions and stock movements Requirements Experience - Must be graduate degree diploma in storekeeping will be preferred Experience Must have 4 years of experience in store management in a resort or hotel Skills Required Material Labelling Documentation Stocking Purchase Orders Customer Service Technical and Packing Knowledge of Storekeeping software
