This Position reports to:

IS Manager

In this role, you will optimize IBM Software Asset usage, minimize cost and ensure software license compliance by leading implementation of policies, processes and optimization initiatives for designated Software Publisher. The Global IS Software Asset Manager has an excellent technical understanding of IBM software portfolio and alternatives, to recommend to the Business Areas selection and use of the correct software.

This role is contributing to the Core IS Services. Main stakeholders are Service Owners and Application Owners around the world and you will joining a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

The work model for the role is: hybrid/remote.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensuring contract-compliant use of IBM software products by managing the Software Product Lifecycle for assigned products and driving the implementation of related processes across ABB.
- Translating identified optimization opportunities into an action roadmap across various IS functions and driving the execution across ABB.
- Planning and consolidating consumption quantities or software demands and providing a validated demand forecast to Sourcing and Vendor Management.
- Acting as the single point of contact for product-related queries from various stakeholders and business representatives, and consulting and recommending to the Business Areas the correct software products and related license models.
- Manage internal and external audits, taking over their technical control within assigned product suites.
- Assure product availability and ease of request and distribution

Qualifications:

- You have Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field

- You have 10 or more years of experience in IT area. Working with Software Asset and License Management of IBM software products for more than 5 years.

- You are highly skilled in software asset management in big and complex environment.

- You are passionate about stakeholder management and have proven ability to build solid relationships with the customers based on trust, professionalism and transparency

- You are familiar with software license management solution(s), e.g. Flexera FNMS/F1

- You are at ease communicating in English, both written and verbal.

- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office products
