Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

- Manual QA Testing:
- Perform manual functional testing of Guidewire applications, ensuring that the system behaves as expected.
- Design, execute, and report on test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Test Documentation:
- Document test cases, results, defects, and progress to ensure transparency in the testing process.
- Collaborate with development and business teams to refine and validate requirements.
- Integration Testing:
- While not mandatory, experience with integration testing is highly desirable to ensure the Guidewire system interacts seamlessly with other applications and services.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to communicate testing progress and issues.
- Provide regular updates and defect reports to ensure the timely resolution of identified issues.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report software defects and issues, ensuring that they are resolved before moving to production.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in functional testing with a focus on Guidewire applications.
- Skills: Proven experience in manual QA testing; integration testing is a nice-to-have.
- Strong understanding of QA processes and test case creation.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.
