Support in lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting machinery to keep them in optimal working condition. Help replace worn-out or faulty parts as per the instructions of senior technicians. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing problems with machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, or HVAC units. Follow repair procedures under supervision to ensure quick and effective solutions. Help test repaired equipment to confirm proper functioning. Electrical and Mechanical Assistance: Support basic electrical repairs such as replacing fuses, light bulbs, and wiring under guidance. Assist in assembling and disassembling mechanical components. Help with small welding, fabrication, or carpentry tasks when required. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks. Assist in identifying and reporting potential safety hazards. Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Inventory and Tools Management: Help maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and maintenance supplies. Ensure tools are cleaned, stored, and ready for use. Assist in requesting or purchasing needed materials. Record-Keeping and Reporting: Maintain simple maintenance logs for repairs and inspections. Report completed tasks to the supervisor for documentation. Inform senior staff about urgent repairs or unusual findings. Support in Emergency Repairs: Respond quickly to urgent maintenance calls. Assist in minimizing equipment downtime by providing immediate support. Help set up temporary solutions until full repairs can be made. Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with senior technicians to learn best practices. Participate in on-the-job training for new equipment and maintenance techniques.
