Social Media Marketing Intern

Job Description Role Overview We're looking for a creative and driven Social Media Intern to support our marketing team in building brand awareness, engaging audiences, and driving online growth. The ideal candidate should be proactive, social media-savvy, and eager to learn the nuances of digital marketing in a high-growth startup environment. Key Responsibilities - Assist in creating, scheduling, and posting engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) - Support in brainstorming and executing social media campaigns, contests, and promotions - Track trends, hashtags, and competitor activities to identify engagement opportunities - Monitor analytics and prepare weekly performance reports - Collaborate with the design and content teams for creatives and captions - Respond to comments, messages, and community engagement in a timely manner - Assist in video content creation, reels, and short and long form content strategy Skills & Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field - Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices - Creative mindset with good writing and storytelling skills - Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools is a plus - Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, InShot, Premiere Rush) is an added advantage - Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn What You'll Gain - Hands-on experience in executing real marketing campaigns - Opportunity to build a portfolio of social media content and strategies - Mentorship from experienced marketing professionals - Exposure to brand building in a fast-scaling startup
