Base Location- Nagpur Plant QUALIFICATION Degree in Civil Engineering EXPERIENCE 8-10 yrs SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS IF ANY ESSENTIAL Execution of large projects greenfield brownfield AutoCAD proficiency DESIRABLE Sound knowledge of survey activities Project planning MS-Projects JOB PURPOSE Responsible for the supervision of all major civil works in the company SCOPE FINANCIAL CONTROL Rs 100 Crs DIRECT REPORTEES 1 TOTAL MANPOWER SPAN 250 Contract Function Projects DIMENSIONS KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1 To oversee all activities related to the Civil PEB works for Projects 2 Supervise and train project team members as necessary 3 Analyze survey reports maps drawings blueprints aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects 4 Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures following construction and government standards using design software and drawing tools 5 Compute load and grade requirements water flow rates and material stress factors to determine design specifications 6 Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards 7 Direct construction operations and maintenance activities at project site 8 Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points grades and elevations to guide construction 9 Estimate quantities and cost of materials equipment or labor to determine project feasibility 10 Prepare or present public reports such as bid proposals deeds environmental impact statements and property and right-of-way descriptions 11 Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations concrete asphalt or steel 12 Provide technical advice regarding design construction or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel 13 Coordinate with Regulatory authorities Project consultants for design drawings and with contractors for timely execution of work 14 Validate quantities scrutiny of contractors bills and certifying for payments FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Proficiency in respective engineering streams designs systems Capable Technical knowhow ability on Civil engineering processes Execution Skill Advanced ability to deliver on time the desired results within the specified parameters Customer Orientation Capable Cultural orientation to engage with customers proactively assess their needs and continuously create value for them MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES Coordinating Advanced Motivates and empowers others to reach organizational goals Innovative Capable Creates new and imaginative approaches to work related issues Identifies fresh approaches and shows a willingness to question traditional assumptions Value engineering Organized Capable Organizes and schedules events activities and resources Sets up and monitors time scales and plans Decisive Capable Demonstrates readiness to make decisions takes the initiative and originates action Analytical Capable Analyzes issues and breaks them down to component parts Makes systematic and rational judgments based on relevant information Proficiency Levels for Competencies - Basic- elementary understanding familiarity Foundational- ability to apply knowledge in certain areas Capable- solid understanding and ability to apply knowledge in most areas Advanced- Thorough in-depth understanding Master- Advisory Expert in subject knowledge
