Job Description JOB SUMMARY A Software Testing Lead supervises Testers and oversees product development procedures to ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards. He/She will also work with development team to understand changes being done to product. The role involves hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium and coding in C#. Job Overview, Roles & Key Responsibilities - Create and deliver software test plans, test cases and test summary reports - Review and publish test cases on requirements gathering sessions - Conduct post release verification following a Production deployment - Record, assess and approve Tracking system issues, suggested ownership, and priority issues - Oversee defects to progress on time and stick to defect tracking standards - Manage QA environment on build and release management - Offer accurate status on defect information and metrics - Communicate at all levels, handle multiple projects and work on business-critical solutions - Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks using Selenium and C# - Manage QA team on discipline, performance, and resource allocation - Enhance testing capabilities guided by standard best practices, policies, and procedures - Mentor QA analysts testing activities on test plan and test case development - Coordinate with business analysts and development teams to assess requirements and engage in project review and status meetings - Design, track and disseminate metrics to monitor product quality - Set up and manage communication between development & Testing team - Motivate and mentor direct reports by effort and example - Work together with Global Test Manager & QA Architect to identify avenues for Test Automation Minimum Qualifications - Must have A Bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree or technical degree from A or B grade colleges with Good academic scores - Must have Certification in ISTQB, Six Sigma, Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, and quality engineer - Must have at least relevant 9+ years of experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing - Must have ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures - Hands-on experience with Selenium and C# for automation testing is desirable Required Skills/Behaviors to be successful in this role - Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy - Excellent communication skills verbal, written & Presentation skills - Ability to work independently as well as participating in a team of professionals - Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, team environment, while also delivering results - Driven, enthusiastic, and highly motivated - High attention to detail and ability to multitask - Must have Exceptional learning skills - Domain expertise would be an Addon We can offer - A chance to join an engaging team of brilliant people with in-depth expertise and industry experience - An opportunity to make an impact on the decarbonization of the shipping industry - Competitive benefits - Innovative tasks and development - Development possibilities
