Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global R2R Delivery lead and will be responsible to lead a group or team focused on the complete, accurate and timely completion of accounting activities within team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Accounting Delivery Manager to lead our accounting and reporting team in delivering high-quality finance and accounting operations. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements

You will be mainly accountable for:

• This role will focus on service delivery, finance transformation, best practices, stakeholder management, accounting and reporting compliance, and people leadership and development.

• Drive initiatives to yield benefits from Finance Transformation Program to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of various transformation group initiatives for FAO.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Division controllers, GPO and external stakeholders, including senior management and auditors.

• Enforces ABB Group Accounting Standards, compliance with ABB's Accounting and Reporting Guidelines, US GAAP and Internal Control over Financial Reporting with ABB Group Charter

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting and reporting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications for the role

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, CA/CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on managerial roles.
- Proven experience in finance transformation projects and implementing best practices in accounting .Must be flexible in working for any shift timings .
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Working knowledge in MS office (SAP Knowledge is a must).
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of developing and mentoring teams.
