Job Description Key Responsibilities: 1. Master Data Governance & Strategy: - Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures for SAP master data. - Lead the design and enforcement of master data models (e.g., material master, vendor, customer, finance objects). - Establish master data KPIs and data quality metrics. 2. Data Quality Management: - Monitor and improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP modules. - Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for data quality issues. - Lead master data cleansing and enrichment activities. 3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration: - Lead and mentor a team of MDM analysts and coordinators. - Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and resolve issues. - Act as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for SAP master data management in cross-functional projects. 4. System Implementation & Support: - Manage SAP MDM solutions, including configuration, workflows, and integration with other systems (e.g., non-SAP apps, data lakes). - Participate in SAP rollouts, upgrades, and migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA). - Ensure compliance with data-related aspects of SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements. 5. Documentation & Training: - Create and maintain documentation for MDM processes, data dictionaries, and business rules. - Conduct training sessions for business users and data stewards. Key Requirements: - Education: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field. - Experience: - 712 years of SAP experience, with at least 4+ years in a Master Data Management lead role. - Hands-on experience with SAP MDM, MDG (Master Data Governance), and Data Services tools. - Experience in S/4HANA is highly preferred. - Skills: - Strong knowledge of SAP master data objects (material, vendor, customer, BOM, GL, cost center, etc.) - Expertise in data governance, validation rules, and approval workflows - Proficient in data profiling, cleansing tools, and reporting (SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, Excel, SQL) - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Preferred Attributes: - Exposure to large-scale SAP implementations or global data management programs - Experience with Agile project delivery and data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA, DCAM) - Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., BODS, PI/PO, CPI) and third-party data platforms
