SAP MM Consultant

Role & Responsibilities : As an SAP MM Consultant, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Materials Management solutions. Your key responsibilities will include : - Implementation & Configuration : Lead and participate in the full lifecycle implementation and configuration of SAP MM modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices, especially within SAP S/4HANA environments.- Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Management : Drive the optimization and management of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, purchase order processing, goods receipts, invoice verification, and payment integration.- Master Data Management : Oversee and ensure the integrity and accuracy of material master data, vendor master data, and purchasing info records.- Business Collaboration : Collaborate closely with various business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, design solutions, and enhance existing SAP MM functionalities to improve operational efficiency.- System Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level support, troubleshoot complex issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to ensure system stability and performance.- Testing & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute comprehensive system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate configurations and developments.- End-User Training & Documentation : Conduct engaging end-user training sessions and create detailed documentation (e.g., functional specifications, user manuals) to facilitate knowledge transfer and system adoption.- Module Integration : Actively support and manage the seamless integration of SAP MM with other core SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Financial Accounting (FI), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM).Required Skills & Qualifications :To be successful in this role, you should possess a robust skill set and proven experience : - Experience : 5 to 6 years of overall experience in SAP, with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience specifically in SAP MM module implementation and/or support projects.- Mandatory Technical Skill : Must have significant SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.- Functional Expertise : Strong, in-depth understanding of core procurement processes, inventory management, vendor management, material valuation, and material planning (MRP).- Integration Knowledge : Solid knowledge of SAP module integration points, particularly with SD, FI, PP, and QM.- Analytical & Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to identify problems, analyze complex data, and propose effective solutions.- Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear articulation of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Teamwork & Collaboration : Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.- Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Location & Work Schedule : Location : Nagpur, Maharashtra Onsite office.Shift : US/UK Time (Candidates must be flexible to work these shifts).Duration : Full-timeNotice Period : Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of up to 15 days are highly preferred.
