Senior Aerospace Engineer
We are an aerospace startup building advanced autonomous aerial platforms from the ground up. We're developing new types of flight systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and innovation — and we're looking for strong engineers to help bring them to life.
What You'll Build
As a Senior Engineer, you'll help design and develop next-generation aerial systems. You'll work on everything from airframe design to propulsion, electronics, flight control, and full-system integration — turning ideas into working prototypes.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work across mechanical, electrical, and software systems as part of a small and focused team
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build core systems for new aerial platforms
- Develop and tune control surfaces, propulsion, and embedded systems
- Integrate sensors, power systems, and flight controllers
- Support testing, debugging, and performance improvements
- Solve complex technical problems in hardware and software
Core Technical Expertise
Flight Systems & Control
- Strong understanding of flight dynamics, stability, and control
- Experience with flight control systems and tuning control algorithms
- Knowledge of sensor fusion, navigation, and guidance systems
- Familiar with different aircraft configurations and control surface strategies
Propulsion & Power Systems
- Experience with integrating propulsion systems (gas turbine, electric, or hybrid)
- Understanding of engine control units (FADEC/ECU) and fuel systems
- Familiar with power distribution and electrical systems for aerial vehicles
Advanced Manufacturing & Materials
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping for aerospace
- Familiarity with composite structures, carbon fiber, and lightweight materials
- Knowledge of manufacturing standards and iterative hardware development
Aerodynamics & Airframe Design
- Solid grasp of aerodynamic principles, airflow behavior, and CFD tools
- Experience in wing and airframe design, airfoil selection, and optimization
- Understanding of boundary layer effects, flow separation, and vortex dynamics
- Familiarity with wind tunnel and flight testing for validation
- Comfortable with both high-speed and low-speed aerodynamic regimes
- Aware of environmental factors like ground effect and weather impacts
Electronics & Embedded Systems
- Experience with avionics, embedded software, and real-time systems
- Knowledge of integrating sensors (GPS, IMU, cameras, RF modules)
- Familiarity with onboard communication systems and data links
- Bonus: experience in autonomous logic or computer vision applications
Systems Integration
- Experience with system-level design and full platform integration
- Familiar with certification, safety processes, and reliability standards
- Exposure to alternative navigation methods and adaptive control systems
Preferred Background
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, or related fields
- 5–10 years of experience in aerospace, UAVs, or robotics
- Hands-on experience building flight-ready hardware
- Excited to work on fast-paced, high-impact engineering projects
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge flight systems from day one
- Build things that fly — and own what you build
- Be part of a core team shaping a high-tech product
