Job Description Job Overview Coordinates and monitors project and support teams to ensure timely implementation of organizational projects. Job Requirements - Evaluating project engineering designs and tracking project completion within budget and scheduling constraints. - Reviewing reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address execution problems. - Participating in the development of project schedules, work plans, technical estimates, and design documents. - Monitoring project health, safety and integrity through compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Key Responsibilities - Manage Sustaining Engineering projects following the Sustaining Engineering processes, with a focus on managing Value Engineering, Transfer & Change projects in Serial Life (post Start of Production) - Maintain project data in TE Project to achieve Industrial Business Unit data integrity goals - Ensure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with Stage Gate process - Work with global project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that schedule - Work with the global project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budget - Work with Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls (Profit and Loss Calculations) and Budgetary Appropriation Requests to support capital expenditures - Update/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC) - Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achieved, committed cost savings are recorded and delivered upon - Contribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development process Key Companies - Engineering degree, preferably additional business administration background - Ability to manage global project teams with key functions in multiple regions - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities - Experience in requirements evaluation, scheduling, and solving resource issues - Proven leadership in a matrix organization, able to lead by influence without authority - Integrative thinking and analytical skills Competencies SET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
