Job Description

Job Title: Lead Software Engineer Fullstack / Cloud / Architecture (React, Node.js, Azure)

Role Overview

We are hiring a Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade software solutions across cloud-native and modernized architectures. This is a hands-on leadership role involving full-stack development, technical strategy, and team mentorship. The ideal candidate will drive scalable solution design while collaborating across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and develop high-performance systems using React, Node.js, Nest.js, and C#
- Lead application modernisation, moving from legacy to microservices-based systems
- Design scalable APIs and always-on cloud applications (Azure/AWS)
- Oversee DevOps processes using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Docker
- Collaborate across teams for system integration, delivery, and quality assurance
- Mentor developers and ensure engineering excellence through code reviews
- Manage production systems, troubleshoot issues, and drive platform performance

Technical Stack

- Frontend: React.js
- Backend: Node.js, Nest.js, C#
- Database:
- MS SQL & T-SQL (strong SQL skills)
- MongoDB (schema design, ingestion pipelines, aggregation)
- Cloud & DevOps:
- Azure and AWS (hands-on experience)
- Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, Docker, Azure Pipelines
- Architecture & Design:
- Microservices, API-first design, system modernization
- Mobile App Development: Experience with mobile platforms
- AI/ML Awareness: Familiarity with analytics-driven platforms using AI/ML (hands-on ML not required)

Must-Have Skills

- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Deep expertise in React, Node.js, Next.js, Java/.NET, and SQL-based systems
- Proven experience with Azure or AWS deployments and DevOps pipelines
- Strong foundation in cloud architecture, microservices, and scalable system design
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams without a formal reporting structure
