Job Title Welder Foreman Location Oragadam Kanchipuram Department Fabrication Production Reports To Production Manager Plant Head Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Welder Foreman to supervise and coordinate the activities of welding personnel involved in the fabrication and assembly of metal structures The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality welding work maintain safety standards and optimize productivity Key Responsibilities Supervise and assign daily tasks to welders and helpers Interpret welding blueprints drawings and technical specifications Ensure proper setup of welding equipment and materials Inspect welds for quality and compliance with industry standards Maintain safety procedures and ensure use of PPE by all team members Train new welders and provide guidance to improve skills and efficiency Coordinate with engineers fabricators and project managers Maintain records of job progress man-hours and material usage Ensure timely completion of work as per project schedules Requirements Proven experience as a welder and supervisory role Strong knowledge of welding techniques MIG TIG Arc etc Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Excellent leadership and communication skills Familiar with safety and quality standards in welding operations ITI Diploma in Welding or Mechanical preferred Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 19 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Leave encashment Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Supplemental Pay Overtime pay Performance bonus Quarterly bonus Yearly bonus Work Location In person
