At ABB we help industries outrun - leaner and cleaner Here progress is an expectation - for you your team and the world As a global market leader we ll give you what you need to make it happen It won t always be easy growing takes grit But at ABB you ll never run alone Run what runs the world This Position reports to Accounting Reporting Manager - General Your role and responsibilities Mandatory In this role you will have the opportunity to drive complete accurate and timely completion of accounting activities for the assigned area e g reporting consolidation etc within the General Accounting GA team Each day you will ensure compliance with internal guidelines procedures and external regulatory requirements You will also showcase your expertise by overseeing reviewing and or supporting the month-end close process including account reconciliation preparation of journal entries balance sheet review etc The work model for the role is Li onsite This role is contributing to the Finance Function in Bengaluru You will be mainly accountable for Overseeing the preparation of financial statements in the appropriate format to include in timely filings with regulatory agencies Leading Internal Control over Financial Reporting ICoFR compliance for specific areas e g record- to-report order-to-cash etc to ensure that processes and controls are designed effectively and to address financial reporting Performing analysis of accounts and highlighting any discrepancies anomalies for correction and serving as an escalation point or subject matter expert for the resolution of accounting transactions and reporting questions Ensuring transparency in financial reporting and disclosures Qualifications for the role Mandatory Minimum 10 years of experience in general accounting reporting reconciliation and processing of journal entries Must have the experience in handling a team Must have experience in Record to Report R2R Working knowledge in MS office SAP Knowledge is preferred Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions Co-ordinating with Internal and External Auditors We value people from different backgrounds Could this be your story Apply today or visit www abb com to read more about us and learn about the impact of our solutions across the globe Fraud Warning Any genuine offer from ABB will always be preceded by a formal application and interview process We never ask for money from job applicants For current open positions you can visit our career website and apply Please refer to detailed recruitment fraud caution notice using the link
