Inviting applications for the role of Consultant - Power BI Developer We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Managed Support team responsible for delivering strategic and operational reporting solutions. The role focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Power BI dashboards and data models that integrate with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Azure Data Platform, and other enterprise data sources. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and functional consultants to ensure data accuracy, visualization quality, and high-performance reporting in a live production environment Key Responsibilities .Support & Maintenance: oManage existing Power BI reports, datasets, and workspaces under AMS (Application Managed Services) model. oTroubleshoot data refresh issues, access permissions, and report performance problems. oMonitor and optimize Power BI service capacity and gateway configurations. .Enhancement & Optimization: oImplement enhancements to existing dashboards and develop new analytics solutions based on business requests. oEnsure best practices for DAX queries, data modeling, and report performance optimization. oManage report lifecycle-development, testing, deployment, and change control. .Data Integration: oConnect Power BI to Dynamics 365 (Finance & SCM), Dataverse, Azure SQL, Data Lake, and Synapse Analytics. oCollaborate with data engineers for ETL/ELT processes and data quality improvements. .Stakeholder Engagement: oWork with functional and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into interactive and insightful reports. oProvide user training, documentation, and usage governance support. .Governance & Compliance: oFollow organizational standards for data security, environment management, and Power BI workspace governance. oSupport periodic audits, data refresh schedules, and version control in alignment with AMS processes. ________________________________________ Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications: .Experience: Strong experience as a Power BI Developer in a managed support or enterprise environment. .Technical Proficiency: oStrong skills in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query (M language). oExperience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) and optimizing dataset performance. oGood understanding of Azure Data Platform components (Data Lake, Synapse, SQL Database, Data Factory). oFamiliarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & SCM data entities and Dataverse structure. .Additional Skills: oKnowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) integration. oUnderstanding of security and role-based access in Power BI and D365 environments. oExposure to DevOps pipelines for BI deployments is an advantage. ________________________________________ Soft Skills .Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. .Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. .Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional team under managed service SLAs. .Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. ________________________________________ Education .Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications .Understanding of Finance and Supply Chain processes within Dynamics 365. .Experience in reporting automation and self-service BI enablement. .Familiarity with Fabric and Copilot for Power BI feature .Microsoft certifications in Power BI or Azure Data Engineer/Analyst are preferred.
