the progress of global aerospace About the role As a Solution Architect You will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended Youll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly top-notch people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions Owns the architectural decisions and creates a modular and scalable solution that addresses future architectural changes and designs Acts as a practitioner architect as opposed to an ivory-tower architect by engaging directly with product-level code and systems to ground decision-making in the organizations technical reality Drives the team s engineering practices in test-driven development continuous integration and automated deploymentPosition Responsibilities This is a varied delivery leadership role with the following responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions translating business requirements into effective architectural strategies aligned with Salesforce best practices Leverage a data-driven design framework to architect solutions and custom configurations Collaborate with cross-functional teams business stakeholders developers etc to ensure successful solution implementation Craft and deliver robust data models that support business needs and integrations Develop and present prototypes and proofs of concept to define and validate requirements Partner with executives technical architects and business leaders to shape the vision and roadmap of products that use Salesforce Manage and prioritize project requirements ensuring efficient project scoping and delivery Provide ongoing support and guidance for optimizing existing Salesforce deployments Stay current on the latest Salesforce functionality best practices and industry trends Collaborates with Tech Leads to ensure code doesn t expose the organization to risk add technical debt or add toil Actively programs to help the team develop a robust solution and solve day-to-day problems serving as a practitioner architect Provides the team with an action plan to implement software engineering practices and improve code quality Identifies and removes technical impediments in product designs Evaluate new products coming into the organization Review solutions and recommend improvements in salesforce solutions Own the design of Salesforce and optionally other affiliated solutions for Sales Service and platform solutions Support RTM approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments Where appropriate this could include deploying changes Help Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog in liaison with Salesforce Business SMEs Supervise the configuration quality assurance testing and deployment of Salesforce Basic Qualifications Required Skills Experience A Bachelors degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience 12-16 years of experience with 10 years of experience in solution architecture and 7 years specifically focused on Salesforce Strong understanding of SQL database concepts and principles Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions Good to have SalesForce Technical Architect certification Preferred Qualifications Desired Skills Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business audiences Demonstrated leadership and project management skills Expertise in Salesforce configuration For eg Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components LWC and other platform features Strong understanding of data modeling principles Proficiency in business process analysis and mapping Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Active coach and mentor focused on growing and maximizing junior architects potential Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology is recommended Typical Education Experience Bachelor s degree and typically 13 or more years of related work experience or a Master s degree with typically 12 or more years of related work experience or a Ph D degree or an equivalent combination of education and
